Welcome to C&M

The Research Group C&M is part of the Institute of Telematics at the Faculty of Computer Science. The Research Group is lead by Prof. Sebastian Abeck.

C&M Research Areas

Our work focuses on the development and management of advanced Web-based applications that are based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Together with our students we are investigating the following research issues in research and industry-driven projects:

  • How is a SOA-based application software system to be developed?
  • How are business processes be supported by service-oriented application software in an efficient way?
  • How can human tasks be integrated into SOA?
  • How can business processes in SOA be monitored?
  • How can access control be enforced in SOA?
